I'm debating whether or not to do any of the EMH evening hours on our upcoming trip. We normally NEVER do the morning ones because they are a total zoo. I'm thinking that maybe by late evening (say after 11p) alot of the folks with small children/strollers would have called it a night (I know I would have if my boys were still small). Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing kids nor strollers...its just I've had my shins takin out more times that Liz Taylor has had marriages....and it hurts! lol.. (my kids are 11, 15, & 20..the last stroller was when youngest was 3...they all liked to walk, its been a long time for us)

So...is the evening better once we get past the 11p or 12a mark? We would like to try the MK after say midnight, its open 11p...then 3 hrs after that. We would all really enjoy that. The temperature would be so much better...and some of the attractions are more fun @ that hour.

thanks for all help..

You would THINK that the stroller set would be long gone. That is absolutely not true. We went 6/9 for MK EMH and it was nuts! 20 minute wait for Snow White at 11:40! Mickey and Minnie were posing for pictures in front of the carousel. The line of strollers, kids, moms and dads stretched almost the entire way to the castle!

We ate dinner at Pecos Bills, watched Spectro, rode Snow White and got the heck out. We had zero lines during the regular operating hours and didn't want to waste our sleeping time waiting in lines at midnight so we left.

I did evening EMH twice at the MK on our trip in December. I found that when I went there were not alot of small kids during the later hours. I prefer this to morning EMH because you only get an hour and there are lots of people, but the evening EMH you get longer and the later it gets the park tends to thin out. The biggest line that I noticed once EMH started was for space mountain. When my older kids and I stayed for EMH they were able to ride Splash mountain three times in a row if I remember correctly and same goes for Thunder Mountain. I would do this again for sure.

We did EMH the past September. We WALKED right on to all three mountains. We just made sure that we did it during the fireworks.

i ahve always found evening emh more crowded than am emh...especially at epcot, and mgm.

We went during one of the busiest times, Easter week, and had no problems. I loved being able to walk right on everything in under 10 min.

We did evening EMH at Magic Kingdom over Presidents Day weekend this year when it was fairly crowded. We got to MK about 11:30pm. THe park was open until midnight, so we got to stay until 3am. By midnight, the park was pretty dead. We started in tomorrow land, and as the 3am mark approached, we were just getting back to tomorrowland! We did the entire park. In fact, i know we did ALL the rides. We just kept getting off of one ride and the kids were running to get on the next one. No lines. we kept saying "we will stay until 1, then it was 1:30, then 2. Next thing we knew, it was 2:55 and the kids were trying to get back on Buzz!! It was awesome. I was actually surprised that people had toddlers out that late.. I saw quite a few babies and toddlers that, at 1 am, were still awake in their strollers! Our kids had a blast that night... We were going to try for MGM EMH the next night, but we were too pooped!!
