i can barely contain my need to start planning my trip in may so i decided to look up park hours earlier and found that on quite a few days theres morning EMH in one park then evening EMH in another park on the same day! has anybody seen this happen before or is it just where its a few months ahead and disney haven't finalised the schedule yet?:confused3
2 lots of EMH would be fantastic though :lmao:

When are you going? When we have been at Easter this has happened several times a week as it is busy and hours are extended. It doesn't happen in regular or off peak season though.

We have also made use of the double EMH a few times, including a couple of days where we did Epcot morning EMH and hopped to MK which had evening EMH until 3 am. Forget doing anything for the first half of the following day, aside from sleep though. But it was so worth it.

we're going 14th-28th of may. i've noticed that MK closes at 2am when we're there, i'll be interested to see if i can last that long without collapsing from exhaustion lol :lmao:

Oh you will be surprised what you can do. Did I mention that I dragged my 6 year old daughter around on those full days .... and did it again the following year :rolleyes1 You can do it ;)

lol i'll be sure to put the really late MK EMH into my plans!!!! hopefully dbf will be able to last the day! if he can't, i'll be sure to mention that a 6 year old managed to do it lol

MK till 2am on our first Disney day too, I'm determined to make the most of that one!

Don't know if it's just luck or what, but there has normally been 2 EMH during stays I've been on during off peak that I can recall.

4 parks, each park has 1 morning EMH and 1 evening EMH a week, obviously only 7 days so one of those days requires both a morning and evening one to double up.

Not sure if that'll change now that AK no longer has evening EMH though.

:scared1:When did that happen?

I know, I am GUTTED as I loved evening EMH at AK, sure, not much was open but the atmosphere was soooo lovely.

I've not actually seen this written anywhere officially (not to say it's not, just that I've not seen it), but I have seen numerous references said with a lot of confidence now on the TPAS board to make it either true, or one kick *** of an urban myth. I think it stops some time around Easter/Spring break season, however when I checked my dates for end of April/May there were only morning EMH's listed for AK so it does seem to back it up.

I read no more evening EMH's but that the park is supposedly staying open an additional hour each night than it would normally for that time of the season. I was actually hoping that they'd do more things like the 'evening food and wine festival' they held to encourage more evening visitors but guess that didn't help enough :(

That is really disappointing if there is any truth in it. I really enjoy AK during pm EMH, specifically because it IS so much quieter. I wonder if they will add them during peak season as and when they see fit :confused3

I can't help hoping that speculation and rumour have simply started as a result of the absence of evening EMH posted for that park .... never hurts to be positive, even if just for a little while

theres definitely no evening EMH at AK while im there :sad2:
