EMH Hours....

I'm sure this has been posted tons of times so I apologize in advance for the repeat........when are the EMH hours for each park?

Here is a link to the Disney website. They have released the EMH for all the parks through November. Hope this helps.

You're most welcome. Enjoy your trip. The December EMH should be released within the next month I would think. I am headed down in a couple of weeks for my second trip this year!! YAH!! I really enjoy the early morning EMH. I am always able to get lots of things done.

What you see as the current EMH is most likely what you will see as the future EMH. Just check the days of the week in any month they fall in as Disney's existing pattern is to keep them the same, e.g., the extra magic hours at night for MGM are always Sunday.

Ok, now ive read up as to when the magic hours are in December, can someone clue me in as to how they work? Am I just being thick?? For example, on 21st December it says MK has EMH in afternoon. Now as the times of opening are 9 - 9 on that day, does that mean it is open a further 3 hours (to midnight) on that day?? And if this is the case, why is MK showing as finishing at midnight on 17th or is this just a normal closing time??? I have read that I need a band to stay on for the EMH times so does this mean its not a definate that I will be able to remain (ie will they have given all the bands away really quickly??) I know that with DLP (much smaller scale I appreciate) when they opened early we just turned up and went straight into the parks. Am now confused??!?

Thanks drusba.....When I was looking at the hours I kind of did notice a pattern and was hoping that that is the case!!

MBcary......have an awesome vacation!!! I'm heading "home" for a long weekend in Early December to celebrate my sister's 40th.....just me and my two sisters going.....should be a blast!!!!

For widget, the EMH for Wednesday, Dec 21 at MK would be at night (to midnight) (Wednesday is a usual MK EMH night). The wrist band you can get at various places in a park before EMH starts and they never run out -- they are just to show that you are a WDW resort guest entitled to stay and get on attractions during the EMH time (and so that others still wandering around who don't have wrist bands will be asked eventually to leave and will not be let on the attractions) The midnight closing on the 17th corresponds to the 11 or later that you will see for every Saturday night in December. It is not an EMH night but the regular closing time WDW has established and generally indicates WDW expects a huge crowd for that particular day and thus the late closing.

just an fyi regarding December EMHs:

There is no rhyme or reason for the schedule during Xmas. Look at the Park Hours link above and you'll understand. Here is what I found:

Friday Dec. 23: MK am (normal schedule)
Saturday Dec. 24: AK am (normal schedule)
Sunday Dec. 25: MK am & MK pm & EP am (normally MGM pm)
Monday Dec. 26: MK am & MGM am & AK pm (normally EP am)
Tuesday Dec. 27: MK am & EP pm (normally MGM am & AK pm)
Wednesday Dec. 28: MK am & MGM pm & AK am (normally MK pm)
Thursday Dec. 29: MK am & EP pm (normally EP pm)
Friday Dec. 30: MK am & MGM am & MK pm (normally MK am)
Saturday Dec. 31: MK am & AK am & MGM pm (normally AK am)


am indicates that park is open one hour earlier than the hours indicate to resort guests.
pm indicates that park is open three hours later than the hours indicate for resort guests.
