What is open in World Showcase. Is it hit or miss? I see no street entertainment and no meet/greets as they stop earlier than normal park hours. Will food carts and stores be open?
Thank you @sharonabe. I am subscribed to characterlocator and love Kenny's site.
Just wish someone updated World Showcase status during EMH. No shows, no meets, yes on some attactions; but pavillion shops and food carts are what I'd like to do on a cool night.
It seems to be becoming a small "urban myth" that World Showcase is not open during PM EMH or that not all the Pavilions are open or that hardly anything is open.
None of that is accurate.
There ARE things that will not be open(a few carts, maybe a few "parts" of some stores etc.) and some things will close early(I think Mitsucoshi and House of Good Fortune both close at 10:00 PM so you will want to go China and Japan first.).
But there is PLENTY open to ensure a great WS experience.
What are you wanting to do that's not listed? We love evening EMH in Epcot. Just walking around the world showcase in the evening is gorgeous and there's always plenty of pretty photo ops to take. Most of the stores and vendors will be open.
We would explore, shop, drink, and snack. No street entertainment, no TS, no QS, and no movies would be sought. My touring plan says country pavilions are closed. I asked help desk, was told shops are closed along with half of that community of subscribers. All I can find in lists are if attractions are open. Think of all the money WDW is losing by being discrete about what is open.
