Why do you think they only keep WS open til' 9pm? They never do EMH at WS, correct? I LOVE WS, I wish it could be open later. It seems Illuminations is at 9pm everynight and closes the park.

MUCH of the entire park, FW and WS are open during Evening EMH.

Selected WS restaurants/food counters, shops, and attractions (Mexico, Norway and USA) and Kidcot stations are open.

really? That's cool, I did not know that?

thanks! :thumbsup2

that on an EMH evening (and official closing is at 9:00 pm) that the entire park will close at 12:00 for EMH guests? I guess I assumed that on future world stuff was open and would therefore close at 10:00 for EMH guests since official closing of FW is 7:00 pm? So which is it? :confused3

Although FW normally closes at 7:00pm the main attractions like Soarin', Test Track, Mission: Space and Spaceship Earth remain open every night until 9pm.....or the closing time of WS if it is later than that.
At that point point FW and WS start the evening EMH for the next three hours.

We participated in it on Friday night. Crowds were intense, even with everyone stopping to see Illuminations. We speed walked straight to Soarin', and even with the distraction of Illuminations the standby line said 40 minutes. We were giggling, thinking, right, well it wound up being 40 minutes. Also, there were no open FP machines, according to the handout for that night, the only FPs were for Test Track. It also seemed like, even with the high guest volume, they were operating on a diminished schedule, only running one side, like not enough CMs. This slowed the lines down conciderably. We rode without FPs first thing in the morning at a faster rate. Also, Imagination gave every indication that it was closed, dim exterior lights/no exterior lights, no CM outside, etc. Imagine our surprise when a brave lady walked up to the door and it slid open. It was extremely spooky walking into that place and having it literally come to life in front of you. The CM started up the cars as we walked forward, SPOOKY! That is a ride that seriously needs a refurb! I adored the old version, this one is just bad. If DD didn't insist on it we would definitely skip it.

Really, when we were there last year, we watched Illumnations in front of France and then finished our beverages at a leisurely pace with some people we had met, when we got ready to leave, every single country was closed. In fact CM's were setting out fences to block off WS. Of course, we still walked into the courtyard at Italy and it was beautiful and saw many beautiful things. But, by the time we got to Mexico, we saw their CS was open and tried to get in line but were told it was closing and that we could not get anything. That was no less the 30-40 minutes after Illuminations.

Did this change recently? Just curious because my DH and I thought it was so gorgeous at night there, we would LOVE to enjoy it more.

Thanks for any info you can share...

Where you there on a EMH night?

What date (approx.)?

WDW can and does change EMH attractions over time.

NOW, they certainly can't "block-off" WS... because the "American Adventure" is specifically listed as an EMH attraction. That's as far into WS as you can get.
