I've just seen on another forum that EMH isn't available on 6th, 8th, 9th, 13th, 15th and 16th November. So this means that for my 12th-16th Nov trip I'll only get the benefit on the 14th (Wednesday). What a nuisance!! I was really looking forward to having a bit of special time in the park each time before the crowds arrive.

If it's anything like it was the last few days late-on, I wouldn't worry too much.

We were able to walk on all rides up until 11pm when dreams started, BTM over and over, small world, buzz, peter pan.. and it was so much better in the dark :wizard:

We ended up switching it around this time and doing later starts to later nights, and found it much better.

Thanks, Jonathan. I suppose it'll stop me being all control-freakish about getting up and out the hotel door quick-smart in the morning. My DH likes to relax on holiday (eh? what? does not compute!) and take it a bit easier whereas I always want to just get up and on with the day so as not to miss out.

Still feel a wee bit "harrumph" though. Am sure it will pass!

This is what I'm hoping it will be like when we go.

its not unusual for EMH to only be on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays in low season winter months.

when we went Nov a few years ago most rides didn't have long waits anyway so hopefully you won't miss emh. Like you say looking on the bright side you won't have the pressure of rushing to get ready in the mornings.

I wouldn't worry.

It means you'll really appreciate the one EMH you do have, and then you can have a bit of a lie in on your other days and enjoy the wonderful DLH breakfasts without feeling guilty about missing out on park time.

I think we enjoyed our DLH trip so much as it was in quiet season, so the parks were closed at 7pm and we didn't have EMH every day, and it meant that we could really have time to enjoy the hotel and relax a bit. And the parks were quiet enough in the day that we still had plenty of time to do everything.

Thanks for the reassurances. We'll have 3 full days and one half day in the parks due to flight times so no doubt there's still plenty time to do and see everything. Though my DD is only 4 so I can imagine we'll be spending the bulk of our time in Fantasyland!

What time will Dreams start in November? I'm wondering if we'll be able to catch it on our first evening there.

I'd guess Dreams would be on around 7pm, I'd expect that to be the park closing time midweek in November (and its easily dark enough at that time of year to be full dark at 7pm to get the best effect of Dreams).

We usually visit for 5 days at this time of year and have never really found the limited EMH a problem, the park is usually fairly quiet and we have never really cued for very long at all. We'll be off again in November 25th and i can't wait!!

I just spotted that too :( On the plus side, I'm thinking that the kids can sleep in a little longer on the non-EMH days and we can have breakfast earlier, before going to the park - that way we will be hungry enough to fit in lunch as well as dinner so I get more restaurant choices :) (we were assuming we'd only do breakfast and dinner with EMH)

I'd be really cross if all the park was open for EMH but as you'll only be missing out on Fantasyland and Buzz Lightyear (if memory serves correctly) then it's not like you are missing out on loads.

When we went last December EMH was on every day but up until a few months before our trip it was showing online as only being on Friday -Monday and Wednesday.

To be honest I'm not sure how much I'd trust things like that when they're being published this far in advance. You might find that closer to the time they change their minds and offer EMH's on your days.

same week for us as well oh well hopefully it won't be busy

Seems like there is a reason cause its specifically states on the Disney site that there won't be EMH that week

Thanks for sharing this - will go & check the site now for our dates in November.

Hopefully the park will be quiet enough for you to do all you want on the other days and you can enjoy late nights too knowing you only have 1 EMH to get up for!! :goodvibes
