EMH DCA What time should we be there?

When should we arrive for EMH at DCA so we can get onto RSR ASAP? Is 6:45 am early enough? TIA!

Are you asking 6:45 for a 7:00 EMH ? Which gate do you plan to use, the Main Gate or the GCH turnstiles?

Even if you are first thru the turnstile, they queue everyone behind a rope at the foot of Route 66 and slowly walk the mass of people down the street until they get to Flo`s then release the crowd. Even if you are in the middle of the crowd, if the ride starts on time , the line goes fairly quick and you should get on in about 20 min. Time enough to ride TSMM and then get in line for a FP to ride RSR again later in the day

agreed with the above posters. A few things:
- when you get to the crowd, stay to the right (otherwise known as the "wide right" strategy) as that will get you closest to the front of the RSR line (although I've never tried it - we just get a FP at regular open and use the EE to do things like Toy Story and Soarin').
- ask a cast member over by the crowd (on the right) whether RSR is going to be open. More often than not (in our experience) it has a "delayed opening". Last Thurs we did regular DCA open at 8am and this was the case- we watched the hoards of people being led down to RSR only for them to all find out the ride was not open yet. It did open at about 8:30 so we grabbed our FP's then. (I used MouseWait to check for when it was open).

Yes, for a 7am EMH. I will be using the CA main entrance turnstiles, not the GCH ones as I have heard about waiting longer because of having only 2

We did EMH at DCA on Sunday and the rope was not used for this crowd. A good amount of people headed to RSR and others headed for TSMM. Later when the park opened at 8am the rope to RSR was used.
