EMH at Mk for preschoolers???

Hi all

I have seen some trip reports which discuss EMH for preschoolers at the MK. We are going at the end of August with my DS who is 3 and my DD who will then be 6.

Can anyone tell me where I can get info about this? Is it an extra cost? When does it occur (dates/hours)? Will my DD be allowed to participate since she is "school aged"?

Any help is appreciated!

It's called Little Ones Magic Hour, and it's been offered the end of August until the end of October (I think) and the MK opens 1 hour early on Sundays, Wednesdays & Fridays. At that time there are characters out in Fantasy Land playing with the kids. There are no photo op's, just playing, singing & dancing or even riding the rides with the characters. Only Fantasy Land is open. We went this past September, and it was a lot more crowded than I had anticipated, but it was a Sunday. I think I will try it again if we go in September.

Also, you have to be staying at a qualifiying on-site Disney resort to use Extra Magic Hours. It's a free perk for Disney resort guests.

We did this the first year it was offered and went on a weds morning in sept. It was fantastic for our 2 year old. Fantasy land was not crowded and she played duck duck goose with mickey and goofy. Some of the characters were going on rides the the kids as well. Its a really nice way for little ones to play and have fun in the park before it gets crowded.
