EMH at Epcot

We are going the week of Thanksgiving and had to switch our planned days around because we were able to get a BOG ressie which the kids really wanted. Now our FP+ are booked so I feel like we are locked in but didn't realize with the change in days, we are going to Epcot on Thanksgiving which is a morning EMH after going to MK with evening EMH. We are hoping to not need much of the MK EMH so hopefully won't be up too late but I am a little concerned about motivating my group to get to EPCOT at rope drop for EMH. If we get there around 8:00 or 8:30 - can we still do TT and Soarin' before 10:00 or will the lines have the long wait times even during EMH and therefore crazy wait times right at opening at 9:00AM?

Thanks in advance for any insight.

I'm puzzled by the phrase, "not need much of the MK EMH."
What do you expect to "need?"

ETA-
Since some posters can't figure out what I'm asking...

I'm wanting to know what attractions, etc., you "need" to experience during PM EMH at MK.
Trying to figure the focus.

I’m not OP, but I read it as having things they didn’t accomplish during regular park hours that they’d need to stay for EMH to get done.

The others are correct - we are hoping to get most of our "must ride" rides done during the regular hours so won't have to stay late into the 10:00-12:00 EMH. The later we stay at MK the harder it will be to get up early for EPCOT Morning EMH and we have a second day at MK. From what I have read you have to stay pretty late for the line times to die down in the evening EMH so we are hoping to get 4th or 5th FP for the day or get things done early (we are planning to RD for that day.)

TT and Soarin' (and FEA but we have the FP for that) are our big "must haves" for EPCOT so we wanted to get those done early.

Thanks for the advice! I will try to get the crowd moving as early as we can but sounds like we don't have to be there right at the EMH rope drop.

I would go with Soarin' first and then Test Track.:)

Single Rider at TT would be optimal,if your group doesn't mind being "split up".:)
