EMH at AK- is it worth going for an hour

With it looking more likely that Soarin will not be open in early June for our trip, I am rethinking if I need to be at rope drop for my Epcot day. Anybody have any opinions on going to the early entry day at AK from 8-9 AM or so and then park hopping to Epcot. How much could I realistically accomplish in the 1-1.5 hours at AK. I have fast passes set up for Test Track from 0955-1055, so I would imagine I should be entering Epcot by at least 1020 or so.

I will have my own car, so I won't have to worry about taking a bus to Epcot.

Anyone have any experience with the first hour of early entry at AK that could offer some advice.

Exp. Everest multiple times, Dinosaur (or It's Tough to Be a Bug,) and Safari.

Thanks Robo..... That would be awesome if we could ride EE a few times plus Safari and Dinosaur. Sounds like it's completely doable then.

Yup.
I've done that many times for AM EMH (and a bit into the 9AM hour.)
I also noted that you could choose ITtBaB instead of Dinosaur, if you like.

We rode EE 2 times, then the safari. We grabbed a snack at Starbucks, and were in MK by 930. Some people may think it's silly to go for a couple rides, that's all we wanted to do there that day, so why not just go and move on?

I agree. There are really on a few headliner type rides at AK, and we have another half day for AK later in the week.

Did you drive to MK or take Disney transportation?

This time we did two couple ride mornings in AK. Next time we will probably try to explore a trail (maybe 2) and see the Lion King show, but even if we do that it's not going to take up that much of the day.

We used Disney buses. We waited maybe 5 minutes at the bus stop.

Nice, thanks. I was curious if it would be more efficient to take the bus and get dropped off in the front of the park versus parking wherever they tell me to.

Can't help you there as I've never had my own car at Disney. I know some people say they like to drive because it's easier, but I've never really had bus issues.

That's easy...
Yes.

I thought about doing EMH at AK but we would be traveling on the bus from Beach Club. I dont know if it would worth the hassle of traveling back and forth on the bus. Maybe we should try it.

What's the problem with that?

I guess it is because I have read so any negative things about Beach Clubs buses.

Even if (IF) there was a specific problem with Beach Club buses, you would only be riding ONE Beach Club bus that morning (the one that takes you to your first park.)
Any other trips (hopping between parks) would not be "Beach Club buses."
