EMH at AK and breakfast adr?

We are going first week in June and planning on going to A.K, on an early emh day. But our family likes breakfast, so do you think we can accomplish alot during emh and still do donald's. At 8am go straight to ee, go on and get fp for later, go on safari, walk thru gorilla trails, and go on primeral whirl on way to Donalds for a 10:10 ressie? What do you think of this plan?

We have never done AK for the Early Open -- we have 3 or 4 times though made 8am reservations at Donald's when the park was opening at 9am. By about 9 we were hitting the rides and got a lot done early. We have also made 10:15 or so seating at Donald's and done the rides like Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl, and the Safari -- with plenty of time for our seating. I think Breakfast starts at 8am. If the Extra Magic hour starts at 8am too -- it may be more crowded since more resort guest will be there.

Personally -- I like the idea of going on a non early open day -- and by making 8am ressies -- you have your own personal Extra Magic Hour and by 9am you are the 1st person hitting the rides since you are already well into the park and not coming in the turnstiles.

Just last week, this is our story.

DAK non-EMH (9am open)
Donald's Breakfastosaurus: 8am Ressie.
Enter for breakfast at 7:55am
Breakfast finished at 8:40am
CM "held" everyone at Bone-yard area (nobody allowed to go back into DAK)
At 8:55am, we were "released" to walk on past the Tarzan Rocks/Nemo Theater (still just I-beams, under construction) to the bridge where two CM's were holding a rope.

They watched across the water until they saw the hordes of folks (being led by CM's) heading towards Asia.

They speed-walked us back to EE, but the "hordes" from the front gate beat us to the standby entrance (Asia is the shorter route to EE than Dinoland).

But, one of our CM's walked OUR group directly thru the FASTPASS entrance (she told the FP CM that we were "coming through"!)

We were on the FIRST ride, in the second car of EE that day!

COOL!

Now, I don't know if this is STANDARD PROCEDURE (so don't COUNT on it to happen) but it was a PERFECT way to start our DAK day, that morning.
