emh animal kingdom, safari ?

Has anyone gone to the evening emh at animal kingdom and gone on the safari. It states that they do this seasonal and I am questioning if they do this after dusk. I am assuming they are not doing it when it is dark since you won't be able to see anything. I am trying to figure out my schedule at end of june.

As of yet, I believe the safari hasn't been running during evening EMH. Could be different this week w/ the holiday crowds. However, I don't think the safari will operate in the dark.

We planned on staying for the evening EMH during our last trip a few weeks ago... but for us, AK is our least-favorite park... we got there around 11am and we were able to go on all major attractions (Dinosaur, It's Tough to be a Bug, Primevil Whirl, Lion King Show, Rapids and Safari) and have lunch by 4pm, and that includes some shopping also!

I don't believe they are running the safari in the dark . It wouldn't really make any sense since you wouldn't really be able to see much of anything

Safaris is currently closing at 5:30pm. With next week's Easter crowds we may push it until 5:45 (not sure yet). I'm not sure about June's hours yet, although I'll be glad to post any updates I may hear about

In January, nothing in Africa nor Asia was open for Extra Magic Evening Hour. Only TTBAB, FOTLK, Dinosaur, etc.

In May what time will Safari run until? Has anyone had experiences doing Safari in the late afternoon?
