EMH and parking?

Do you have to use Disney transportation on an EMH morning or will the parking lot be open so we can drive over? An if so, how early will the lot open? (I haven't been able to get the kids up for morning EMH for years but this trip they have promised!)

The parking lots open VERY early.

We've only had problems with AK. The parking lot there didn't open when we drove until just before the park opening, not the EMH park opening. Take the bus to AK to be safe.

When we went to EMH at AK in the morning, the parking lot was open. I've never heard of one of the park's lots not being open for EMH. That is unusual.
