Is it doable to do a 10:35 ADR at Trattoria al Forno if we are at Epcot EMH at rope drop? I have no idea of the distance.
We would rope drop Soaring and then do what ever we can for about 1 1/2 hours. Would we need to head that way around 9:30? We are fine with walking but, is that our only option?

Sounds doable to me. You could also take one of the boats from Epcot to the Boardwalk. You can also grab a bus to Boardwalk Inn or Swan/Dolphin and walk from there.
In my experience, though, buses from the park to the hotel at that time (and off peak time) are a bit slow.

Thanks....didn't think about the boat. I actually have 7:35 and was bummed about missing EMH. When the 10:35 one opened I grabbed it!!!

It will not take you an hour to walk from the International Gateway in World Showcase to Trattoria. 30 minutes is more than enough- I would plan to be at the IG exit at 10. You can take the boat- Boardwalk is the first stop heading from Epcot to DHS. It will take as long to ride the boat as it will to walk, typically, but it might be more relaxing. The bus (and I am 95% sure there is only one IF it is raining- at least that is how it is at DHS) would not be a good use of time. You should have plenty of time to enjoy EMH before breakfast.

Awesome!! thanks for the reply!! we actually prefer to walk but, I wasn't sure of the distance...30 min is perfect!!. The boat might be fun for my 5 yr old. Glad to have several choices.

There is a map by Robo in his maps thread here that shows how the boat route works. It is in post 7, which is getting place to place in his map contents. Trattoria is very close to the boat dock, so you are basically walking or boating from the red dot at the IG to the red dot at Boardwalk. The walking path follows the pink line between the 2 dots. That should give you an idea of distance.

great maps!! Thanks

We have a 7:50AM and hoping to make rope drop at EP. My only issue is how to get there with out driving?? Really hate the ideal of all that walking because we plan on being at HS by 3. And can the car stay parked at Boardwalk for that long if we do drive??

No
You are not allowed to park at the Boardwalk and go to a theme park. The lots are not large enough to accommodate paying resort guests and theme park goers
Take a taxi/uber to breakfast then the boat to Epcot if you don't want to walk.

The walk to Epcot is not bad. I would either Uber or taxi over in the am. Or you can take a bus to DHS and boat from there.

The only way you can leave your car there is if you pay to valet it (I think this is allowed, anyway). Otherwise, that early, you need to take a taxi or uber to the restaurant.

In my experience, walking is faster than the boat, unless you can catch the boat exactly when it's leaving.

yep, the more I look into this, I do thing walking will be what we do. We may ride the boat back just for the fun of it.
