We have a reservation for a Saturday night at 5:30 at Emerils for 4. Our kids are 5 & 10. Is it really appropriate to take them? The reservationist I spoke with said it was but after reading about it I question if we should take them. We are staying at the PBH and don't like the cost or duration of their child care program. The one at the HRH looks better as it is by the hour rather than a flat rate for the night. We plan on eating and going back to the parks.

The RP also has a sort of "camp" that started at 4:00 or 5:00 PM in July. My five year old nephew had a ball there.

I would think the kids would be ok, as long as they are well behaved, however, a sitting service is probably cheaper...lol.

Emerils is wonderful, and you would probably enjoy it better without the kids.

I've brought my child there the last 3 years. He has been going since he is 7. We have never brought him after spending a day in the theme parks because it might be too much for him. If you think your children can sit through a lengthy meal, it might be great for you and your husband. Additionally, I was there last week, and they recently added a children's menu (YAY!!!). Do not expect inexpensive items on the children's menu. I "think" I paid about $17. for filet mignon for my son.

My husband always feels this is a "don't miss" restaurant. Pricey, yes, but worth it.
