Just wondering if anyone has been to either of Emeril's places & how was the food & atmosphere?

I have not been to any of his orlando restaurants, However, I have been to one in Las Vegas and also Emeril's Atlanta. I have never had a bad experience, and have really enjoyed the dishes that we have tried.

The only reason we have not gone to the ones in Orlando, is because we have smaller children and we do not think that taking our children (no matter how well behaved they are) is something that we are inclined to do, until they are much older.

Otherwise, I would not hesitate at all to dine there.

We have been to Nola's and Emeril's in New Orleans, and also Emeril's at Universal City Walk. We took our kids with us (they were about 7 and 10) and went mid-afternoon and just had dessert. Our kids are now teenagers and they STILL talk about how fancy and nice the service was. Every meal we have ever had at Emeril's has been incredible and worth the money. Not necessarily food geared toward smaller children though.

Emeril's is our first night dinner every year we go to Disney. We check into the Coronado, unpack, go for a swim and then head to Emeril's for dinner. I like the one at CityWalk much better than the one at the MGM in Vegas (the one in Vegas has changed and the offerings aren't as varied or as good in my opinion).

I have gone with the family and by myself (City Walk). Enjoyed every minute and every bite. I have had everything from the Mushroom Pizza with Truffle oil to the Filet with Bleu Cheese. Never had a bad meal or bad service. I would suggest it to anyone. There is not a bad dish on the menu.:goodvibes

It's because Jean Claude the chef at the Fish House at MGM is now at Emeril's new place in Vegas Table 10. He is the best. And very, very, very cute;)

We have eaten at Emeril's City Walk & Tchoup Choup. Both are great. I would check out the menus at Emerils web site. Tchoup Choup is just Beautiful.

We went to his rest. at Universal. The service was awesome and the food was really good too.

We go to Emerils every time we go to WDW. It is usually at the end of our trip. My 11 year old DD is a budding chef, loves the food channel and Emeril! We always sit up at the bar where you can watch the sous chefs work their magic and they always interact with DD. Last September she had heirloom tomatoes that had been grown in water and mozzerella cheese caprese salad. It was incredible to the point that when we got home my DFI got on the computer and ordered seeds for heirloom tomatoes and we grew them this summer in the garden. We had them with kosher salt on them and they were incredble. It was our favorite summer snack! DD was also taken into the back by a wonderful Chef one night and it was just magic for her! I wish I could remember his name.:confused3 He was a stout, bald, good looking African-American man. We became friendly with the GM there too, John Youlington, who I believe is in Las Vegas now. He is truely a great guy. I really reccommend going!

We have been to both in Orlando. While Tchoup Chop get's a big thumbs up from us, Emeril's is living strictly on the name and location in our opinion. It did not provide quality food or service but did give a hefty price in a terrible atmosphere. Do yourself a favour go to Tchoup Chop or if you can handle the $, I would go back to Victoria & Albert's in a heartbeat.

I decided to add this pic of the ambiance of our table at Emeril's while dropping $300 - and yes we asked to be moved but no, they didn't accomodate us. I wrote (both snail mail and email) Emeril's back in 2006 after our dining fiasco and never received a response.

City Walk Emiril's is good but Thoup Chop is awesome.Food is good and service is truly amazing.Every employee that walked by asked to help.

We got to eat at both a couple months ago during the Magical Dining Month for a prefixe of $29 for dinner and $19 for lunch. The Tchoup Chop food is on par with anything Disney except V&As which is 2X the price.
