Emeril's Orlando and Tcoup Tcoup --Dress Code

We've got reservations for these two restaurants during a stay in a couple of weeks.

Here's what it has to say about attire:

We recommend business casual attire. However, smart-casual attire is completely acceptable. We ask that gentlemen not wear sleeveless shirts.

We're staying about a mile from the restaurants, and it wouldn't really be convenient to head back to the room to change after dinner before heading back into the park. With that in mind, can I get away with dress shorts and a collared shirt? How about nice cotton shorts and a collared shirt?

Actually, I just noticed that the parks close at 7 and 8 when we're there, so heading back into the park is a bit of a non-issue. With that said, with it being June in Florida, knowing whether shorts are kosher would still be handy.

You will absolutely be fine at Tchoup Chop in dress shorts and collared shirt. Completely Kosher! Enjoy! It is great there!

As long as you look nice, they don't care. Remember that people are popping in right after going to the parks. As long as you are neat and tidy with no parts hanging out, you'll be fine.

Cool, that really gets to the heart of the question. My plan would be to go back to the room before going, but in the event that wasn't feasible, it sounds like I would still be OK in a pinch.
