I booked to sit at the food bar. Any thoughts or experiences?

We love sitting at food bars. We do it quite oftern at the Disney restaurants like Jiko, California Grill, Flying Fish Cafe.

Both times we ate at Emeril's City Walk we ate at a table.The food was great, of course. Enjoy

I've only eaten there once, and it was at the bar. Super great food and service! Unless you are trying for a really romantic experience, I thin the food bar is a great choice!

I'm probably in the minority but I would pick Tchoup Chop over Emeril's everytime. My personal opinion of Emeril's is that it is a money grab capitalizing on his name. Tables are jammed together trying to maximize square footage, service is based on turning over the table as quickly as possible with courses arriving before previous plates are removed and quality is inconsistent. All of this is not what I expect when dropping $300 on a meal.

I do agree about the tables being cramped. We will have to try Tchoup Tchoup next time.
