emergency resort switch for dec...Poly to Port Orleans(2rooms)

gonna need to cancel our poly reservation for first week of dec. DIL is now w another child so that definitely puts us out at Poly. our best choice is 2 rooms at Port Orleans.


whats my best bet for getting this changed. we have deluxe dining and tix pkg now. but 2 rooms needed now. we are not concerned about connecting just 2 rooms at same resort.

We have big van for transpo so not a concern...

4 adults and 3 kids 4 ,2, and 2 months...

works out to actually about 100 bucks cheaper for river view rooms than 1 std room at poly

Did you book direct or throw a travel agent? If you booked direct just call and let Disney know you can want to switch the first room down to X number of people at Port Orleans and also book anotber reservation for Y number of people at Port Orleans as well linked to the original.

You'll love POR. We prefer the mansion section. I put my request in for a location near the foot bridge. For your DIL, with the young ones, they may enjoy a location near elevator, or ground floor. Note- Alligator Bayou buildings don't have elevators.
The mansion section, either Acadian House or Magnolia Terrace location close to foot bridge is very central to ammenities.
I think you'll enjoy having your own room and space too!

Ok called and made the switch to 2 rooms but reservation doesn't show change yet...???

The cm said they were doing upgrades so maybe it won't show till tomorrow?????
