Emergency Potty Breaks in line

Granddaughter also has impeccable timing - made the announcement just as we were ready to board Gadget's Go-Coaster. They gave us a baby-swap pass so we could re-enter via the exit.

When my DD was three, we went straight to see Tinkerbell after arriving at the Magic Kingdom. Our trip from the parking lot was delayed because the monorail wasn't running, so we were rushing. We were all bundled up in layers because it was 35 degrees. It never occurred to me to make a potty stop. We waited in line for a while. The moment we got to the front of the line, DD announced a potty emergency. A CM immediately showed us an exit door, pointed out the nearest bathroom, and told us with a smile to come back and knock on that door when we were ready to meet Tinkerbell. She was clearly not the first potty emergency the CM had ever seen.

We have had to leave the line a few times over the years to take a kid to the bathroom. We always use our manners and check in with the CM on our way out. When we come back we check in again with a CM and if the rest of our family is far gone we just wait out at the exit for them, if they are coming by a point we can easily join them with a CM's help we do. I am not the type to try to weave my way in and out of a crowded line to try to rejoin my family. We also stop at every bathroom and everyone goes in to try!

Have a Magical time!

it doesn't bother me if one or two people have to leave and rejoin their group, as long as they're polite about it. my mom has a medical condition that causes sudden urges, so sometimes when she has to go, SHE HAS TO GO. i'm pregnant and even though i visit the restrooms often, sometimes it will hit me all of a sudden at an inconvenient time (and sometimes all the junk i eat in the parks can do a number on my stomach, unfortunately). i know that there are certain points in the queue that make it difficult to rejoin, so if/when one of us has to leave the line, we usually know the easy entry points and just wait for each other there instead of having to squeeze through everyone else.

When this happened in line for Star Tours, a cast member gave us a special pass to use the fast pass line once we got back.
