Just got a call from a friend who decided to drive to WDW. She's on the road now. She knows there's a promotion going on right now--something like 2 nights at a moderate for $199--but got disconnected while making her reservations. Next two agents would not offer the same deal.

Does anyone out there know a good promotion code for the moderates?

Thanks so much!!!

P.S. Just found out they don't arrive at WDW until Wednesday.

The promo that was in today's paper does not start until January. I am not aware of any deal like your friend is looking for right now. However, Mousesavers shows code AMI for AP holders right now. Does she have an AP? If not, I don't see anything else on Mousesavers.

what was the discount and how long was the discount for, that was advertise in the newspaper:sunny:

What my friend is looking for is a "postcard" rate. I haven't looked in any newspapers, but I did check online as well as in recent issues of Disney Magazine.

Since I knew I couldn't go to WDW this year, I threw out any promotional postcards that I recently got. It figures, doesn't it? I guess I'll hang onto them from now on for my friends and fellow disboarders!

If there is a pin number on them, you can't share.

Thanks for the info on the pin number; I didn't realize that.

In this case, though, it could be still helpful because the first CM my friend spoke with could see that she was sent the postcard...she didn't tell her what the general code was but she was going to apply it. (They must have access to the mailing list or database.) After getting cut off and calling back, my friend spoke with CMs who weren't as knowledgeable. I told her I'd see what I could find out and that in the meantime she should just keep calling. She just might get an extra-special CM again!

Are there any CMs out there who could tell us what they have access to while handling our reservations?
