Has anyone had the pleasure in staying in any of the rental homes in the resort? Could you let me know what you think?

Love to hear from every one.

We stayed at Emerald Island villas back in 2003 and loved it, its a safe community and the villas there are first class. We are going back there for 3 weeks in October as well. Hope that helps

Hi

Hope this doesn't put a damper on the plans, but we just stayed at Sunset Lakes, the next community to Emerald Island last week. There is a massive road construction right next to the community and if you get a house on the west side you may well be backing on to it. We were about 400 yards away and unaffected, but we did comment when driving past that staying on that side of Emerald Island would be a nightmare....dust, noise... .

Thats a suprise, we have stayed on LOTS of villa complex's and have found Emerald Island to be far the best hence why we have booked to stay there again.

Hi

The community itself looked fantastic from what we saw, apart from the construction on the side. They appeared to be putting a bridge there to go over Funie Steed (sp may be wrong) Road and the road itself will run through to 192.

Its expected that construction will be taking place afterall Emerald Island is a fairly new complex and still has alot more villas to be built, like i said when we stayed there back in 2003 it was just superb and we even booked for 2004 but ended up getting stuck with another complex due to a mix up, cant wait to go back there in October though.
