Emerald island

has anyone stayed in this resort? What was your experience?

I've been looking at homes on VRBO. I am currently also looking at Windsor Hill.

We stayed here http://www.emeraldislandrentals.com/orlando-florida-south-facing-pool-home.htm. They have other properties as well. The location was great, and we enjoyed our stay. There were a few minor issues with the home, and we were not too happy with the way they were handled, but overall things were good.

We stayed in a townhome there years ago. We really enjoyed it. We are staying in another townhome there this year.

Have stayed at both Emerald Island and Windsor Hills a number of times. When we stay in a pool home we don't use the community stuff at all. Emerald Island has the nicer landscaping of the two. Both have manned gates and the grounds are well looked after. Homes are individually owned so no two will be alike for either resort.

We've stayed in a 7 bedroom at EI and a 6 bedroom at WH. Both were nice neighborhoods but, everyone in the party agreed we liked EI better. Nothing wrong with WH, just had a better vibe at EI to us.
