Emerald Island, Wind. Hills distance to park?

I would like to rent a home as close to the Magic Kingdom as possible. How long will it take to get from these communities (Emerald Island and Windsor Hills) to the "actual" entrance of the Magic Kingdom? (Where you give tickets and get on the monorail.) These homes look great, but the commute HAS to be as short as possible. Thanks!!

We stayed in Emerald Island for a week in March in a pool home. with no traffic, taking the Sherbeth Road "shortcut", we could be at the AK in 5 minutes, MK lot in 12. With traffic (i.e. hitting all lights on 192), add 5-7 minutes to these times.

I would guess the same is true for all those developments around Formosa Gardnes Blvd.

We stayed at Windsor in March and it never took more than 15 minutes to get to all the parks.

That time seems right. We own in EI and that is what we tell our guests. As long as you take the sherberth rd entrance.

You can get an idea from this map. Once you are on the Disney loop I call it the time depends on where you plan to go. Nothing more then 15 min.
