I read the other reviews also and they are pretty good and yes, that last one is pretty recent. Its a big turn around from being so positive in February to being rundown and in disrepair 2 months later.

Wasn't even 2 months, their stay was in March, not April. And it does make you wonder.

Hopefully the agents gave the owner a good roasting and this prompted a new and improved care of the home.., I hope the feedback was taken on board and the owner dug into their pockets and realised the error of their ways, hope future families have a better stay. What would prevent an owner from manufacturing a good review of their own. I know hotels do it on Tripadvisor.
