Emerald Club Question

Sorry if this has been asked before...none of my searches came up with the answer.

If you are an Emerald Club member and reserve a Standard/Full-size car, can you choose from either the standard/full-size aisle or the Emerald Aisle? How does the gate know which cars are on the Emerald Aisle?

Just curious in case we see a car on the Emerald Aisle that we'd like more than the cars in the reserved standard/full-size aisle.

Technically according to the rules, Emerald Aisle is only available with an intermediate reservation. But my experience is they will allow you to pick from the Emerald Aisle if you see something you like.

Good point....I just didn't know considering the price of a standard/full is more than an intermediate.

If you fly into MCO you can just go pick a car from whichever aisle you reserve. Not just the Emerald aisle. As long as the car you choose matches your reservation no need to stop at the counter just present your card as you exit the lot.
