You used to be able to get Emerald Choice with a mini-van reservation in Orlando. Emerald Choice is not (was not..?) available in all locations.. Yesterday morning I made a minivan reservation and it offered me Emerald Reserve. Late yesterday, and again today I checked and it is no longer offering Emerald Choice or Emerald Reserve with a minivan reservation.... Something must be up with National's online reservation system, unless they have eliminated the Emerald Choice/Reserve in Orlando... I guess I will hold onto my reservation and proceed to the minivan aisle per the instructions on my confirmation unless National contacts me and tells me different. The strangest thing is when I use the National website to view my reservation it shows Emerald Aisle and you cannot reserve a minivan using Aisle service.....

I was trying to price premium cars but the national site wouldn't let me for EA, it prompted me to choose counter. I also tried for luxury and minivan but no luck there either.

EA is only available for Intermediate, standard and full sized cars, everything else goes( normally ) either Choice or counter.

I went back to your original post and I think you are trying to rent a mini van, hopefully this is correct.

Mini vans are not available on EA, I am not sure why you got a reservation saying that, but obviously there was some glitch in the system. Traditionally, the only vehicles available on the EA are intermediates, standards and full size. Sometimes they have SUV's, mini vans, premiums, converts, etc. on the aisle, but, not always.

I actually rented a minivan during all of this madness for September and it says Emerald Reserve on it and says I can bypass the counter. Maybe this is what the poster saw originally and then went back and it changed, as it has changed for many of us. I had never seen this for a minivan, so guess this is part of the new system.
