Ok.
I joined through Mouse savers link.
I logged in.
I reserved an intermediate sized car pick up at MCO.

In my confirmation email it says
"Your level of service is Counter. Please proceed to the rental counter."

Did I do something wrong? We come in late, after 11pm, is that the problem?

Mine said the same thing until I entered my credit card information

You have to have your credit card information in your profile. That beauty of EA is that they have all of your info in there already so all they do is print the rental agreement and off you go. You will also have to have your drivers license and other info in there...

They asked for both DL and CC info when I registered. I guess I better call.

Figured it out.
If you add any optional equipment you have to pick it up at the counter. After you pick up the equipment you proceed to the Emerald Aisle.

Let me know how you like the EA! We are probably going to go with National next summer when we rent a car.

I am going to tell you I LOVE EA! It is so easy to use. Get your luggage, bypass the counter and head straight to the garage. When you get there you can choose ANY car off of the EA. At times there are upgrades from the midsize you are guaranteed. Last trip we got a minivan with DVD system that was awesome for the drive to Daytona Beach for the day.

The only issue with National is that their pricing has been higher the last year or so..... we used Alamo (their sister company) and pre-paid. It works essentially the same way... skip the counter, pick your car and check out at the exit.

Good to hear! I feel much better about the EA now. I've been reading about people showing up and the EA is empty? What do you do then?

I was wondering the same thing. We will be using EA this week, but late at night, about 9:30. What if we get there and there is no vehicle to accomodate us?

They will pull up a car for you. It only happened to me once in probably 10 years using EA.
