Hi,
I am doing EA next week and I have a question. What do people mean when they talk about the Emerald Aisle A and B sides? :confused3 Thanks!

There are two terminals at Orlando airport,A and B. There is a list on the airports website that show which airlines service which terminal. For me, Delta Song is on Terminal B. So whe I get off of the plane I will be in the B terminal where I will collect by baggage and head to the Emerald Aisle on the B side of the airport. Other airlines may arrive on the A side, and they will collect their baggage from the A side and head to the Emerald Aisle on the A side. You can probably find out on your airline's website whether you will be landing in Terminal A or B.
Hope that helps! :teeth:

See this website:

There are counters and garages on both sides. On A side, National's lot is on the second level of the garage, on B side it is on ground level of the garage.

This is a good look at the airport. Also, check out some of the other maps on the airport's web site. If you go to http://www.OrlandoAirports.net/goaa/arrive/arrive.htm you can read a walkthrough about how the arrivals work.

Basically, the airport has 4 "satellite" areas that are not phyiscally connected to the airport. This is where the gates are. When you get off your plane, you proceed to a small tram that takes you to the main terminal. The A and B refer to which side of the terminal you arrive on. You will be directed to go to A or B baggage claim depending on your airline. After getting bags, you go down one level to ground level and cross over to the parking garage. Go to National and you are there.

As stated above, the car rental agencies on site have desks on both sides of the airport and cars on both sides. Most people simply go to the closest one but a few people have reported that if lines are long on one side, they go to the other. Others have walked to the other lot to check the EA selection. I did this last trip and found the selection to be the same.....

Have fun.
