I love the Embassy Suites.
I stayed there twice with my sister, once with her son and DIL and once with my middle son.
the rooms are big, my sister and I shared the bedroom with two double beds and her son and DIl had the living room couch with a portacrib for their baby. When my son stayed he had the couch to himself and said it was quite comfortable.
The living room has a dining table and small kitchen area. Microwave and small fridge. No cooking utensils, strictly for heating snacks and popcorn. They have a couch and chair in the living room along with a large TV.
The bedroom has two double beds and a tv in the dressing cabinet. There is a sink in the bedroom, one in the kitchen area and one in the bathroom.
There are two lines for Bfst, one has pre-cooked food (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns) and the other is for omlettes and pancakes. The Omlettes were great, I had a tomato and cheese with mushrooms and it was better than what I have had in restaraunts in WDW. They also have OJ, apple juice, coffee and tea, cereals, fruits(cut up and whole), tiny muffins, and tiny croisants. I thought the breakfast was great when we stayed over 10 years ago and this past summer.
I stopped at the grocery store and picked up chips and dips, and cheese and crackers to have for the manager's reception. People were asking where I got the food and the next night there was a big crowd with their own picnics.
The drinks are great, but small. The beer comes in an 8 oz cup and the mixed drinks are served in a 4 oz cup but they give you two at a time. My nephew paid $4 for a mug at the bar and they filled that to the top. they filled it quite a few times in that 2 hour period but we won't go there. they serve all kinds of mixed drinks but no frozen drinks during happy hour.
They are expensive unless you get a deal, I found the rooms on bookit.com for $89 per night for the 4 of us. We drank more than that each night and the breakfast would have cost us at least $10 each if we had gone to I-hop.
I have a coupon from the suites for 3 nights free if I go on a time share and I am going there again between Christmas and New Year. I would gladly give them 120 minutes of my time for another stay at Embassy. Peggie
