Embassy suites Philadelphia

I have a room at the Embassy suites (Logan's circle area). Can anyone tell me about this hotel? I'm there for a family funtion. Hoenstly, the hotel doesn't look all that nice, from the pictures on the web. Has anyone stayed here? I would love to hear oppinions. Also, how easy is it to get to 12th & Market from this hotel?

Hi! I don't know much about that hotel, but I know there are alot of hotels right in the downtown (market street) district. From Logan Circle you would probably catch a cab to 12th & Market. I have no idea what your budget is, but there is a Loew's hotel right at the corner of 12th & Market and I know there are a handful of hotels right in that 1 block radius. I have stayed there and liked it. It has good size rooms with the separate living room. The rooms were clean and there is a managers cocktail party in the evening. There may be breakfast - we just stayed at a Embassy Suites in Seattle and had free breakfast.

To 12th and Market (convention center area) - walk down Arch st to 12th and up to Market (5 blocks or so). It is on the Parkway and convenient to the museums.

We stayed there about three years ago. It was in need of rehab. The staff was pretty good, the room could have been a lot cleaner and fresher. The rooms actually aren't all that big.

It used to be something else, I can remember staying there probably 16 years ago when it was under a different chain, and it was just OK back then. It hasn't been updated. (At least it hadn't been when we were last there.)

You can do a LOT better.

I have no idea what your budget is, but there is a Loew's hotel right at the corner of 12th & Market and I know there are a handful of hotels right in that 1 block radius.

I can't help with the Embassy Suites, but I've stayed at the Loews quite a bit. That's a beautiful hotel if it's within your budget and right next door to where you need to be.
