Embassy Suites DTD area

Does anyone know of any discounts, codes or coupons for the Embassy Suites near DTD? The big pink hotel!
I stayed there once while doing a time share tour and loved it. But when I checked the site the cheapest room is $189. Too much but I would love to stay there if I can get a cheaper rate.
I am looking for something for one or two nights at the beginning of our vacation. I was going to go for a cheap place but thought it might be nicer to find a better hotel and this one came to mind.
I would even do a time share tour if I had to in order to stay here for less. Peggie

I see no replies probably because I have wondered the same thing in the past and could never find a discount low enough to rationalize spending the money to stay in this neat hotel. Once upon a time, and it fells that long ago, I got a rate of $79/night and we really enjoyed the stay ..Never came close since!!!

Are you talking about the Embassy Hotel on Lake Ave in LBV? I believe I saw that hotel listed under the MagicCard discounts for $129 a night. If you go to orlandoinfo.com and order a magiccard, you can get a discounted rate with the card.

Go to tripadvisor.com they have some great prices listed there right now. I just spoke with the front desk there today to reserve our room choice. She was so sweet and informative. What kinds of food places are around the hotel?
