Embassy or Blue Tree?

We are looking for a great off-site hotel where we can be comfortable, spread out a bit, enjoy the property, and not break the bank. So far we like Embassy Suites LBC (the one on Lake Avenue) and Blue Tree Resort.

Does anyone have a preference and would care to share? Or is there another that is comparable to these two that we should consider? We are going for a week (Sunday to Saturday) in October, and our party includes two adults and one seven-year-old.

TIA!

I haven't stayed there yet, but we have Embassy Suites LBV booked for our trip this June. They won me over with their free breakfast and 2 hour cocktail hour. ;) We were able to get a great rate there.

Blue Tree resort is a timeshare - and is partially owned by Westgate.

so if your reservation includes any meeting, maintenance updates or sale pitches - would go with Embassy Suites

the only ones I know of are also timeshares -
Sheration Vistana Resort
Cypress Pointe resort
Grand Beach

are in the same area and all have a long list of activities

we are also staying here early June and we got the room for $91.90 a night, I like all the items mentioned and the free shuttle to the parks.

Where is the best place to find discounts on Embassy Suites? I usually use hotelcoupons.com
But I didn't see Embassy Suites on there.

What kind of rate did you get for June if you don't mind me asking? :)
We got a rate of $93/night for Embassy Suites LBV, all taxes included. My DH used to be in the army reserves, he is no longer in it so we aren't eligible for military discounts, but we get our insurance through USAA (which is for current/former military), and they have their own travel site called Explore Cruise and Travel. We booked that rate through them. You can also get really low rates on Embassy Suites if you join AAA.

ES LBV is very nice. I've stayed in the other two Embassy properties in Orlando but not this one. However, one of my best friends has stayed there and was very pleased.

Their breakfast is a major selling point. If you'be never stayed at an ES before, it includes a free breakfast buffet plus being a cook to order omelet station (among other things). ES is one of my favorite hotel brands!

I stayed there (embassy)our first year going to disney on loved it, the price can't be beat. We may be doing a split stay there again this summer. Trying to cut costs.

Well, then, Embassy it is! Our rate is free - we are using points from our credit card - can it get any better than that?
