Im back
.sorry for the delay!
So, seeing as how the she triggered an alarm; get the crazy lady out of here police didnt descend on me we continued our tour of Mickeys house.
For some reason in 2007 the girls ABSOLUTLY REFUSED to ride on the Walt Disney Railroad, which I had always regretted because its one of those thing I can remember doing as a kid on our trip back in the good old days. ( The train, its a small world, the Swiss Family Robinson Tree house and buying a shrunken coconut head all figure prominently in my memory
..) Maybe they thought it was a scary ride then
who knows
.but with Mickey and Minnies houses out of the way, a ride on Goofys Barnstormer under their belts and a quick run through the gift shops in ToonTown, this time they were up for it. So we decided on a round trip, parked the
scooter, pocketed the key and climbed aboard
.
As we settle ourselves onto our bench and await the final ALL ABOARD! I calmly turn to my poor, unsuspecting mother and remark Did I mention this is a roller coaster?.
I thought the woman ahead of us was going to choke on her water and the look on moms face was priceless!
Sorry
.no great train pictures, or really cool shots of the construction going on for the new expansion (not that you could see much); remember , I was not in charge of the camera
.even though I had told Rae to take construction pictures, she was really on the wrong side and we were past it before she realized I guess.
As we raced the Speedway, the Monorail and the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad around the park Bonnies infatuation with the castmembers continued
..

We were now faced with the fact that the pretzels and trail mix snack would not sustain us for much longer, and having pointed out Splash Mountain to Bonnie on the way by, it was decided that Grammy and the Girls (sounds like a 50s rock and roll band doesnt it?) would find some snacks and I would hoof it over to Splash Mountain to grab some fast passes.
Sounds like a good plan right?
Never underestimate what I can screw up
.
