embarkment lunch

The food selection is almost identical. May vary a bit. I prefer to eat in Parrot Cay because I want to make sure I eat in A/C. I do not like sitting in the noon sun while eating, so I don't want to take a chance of not getting a seat indoors at Topsiders.

We always go to topsiders (I do think the food is the same buffet but am not positive as each time we have only gone to topsiders) We love the charged atmosphere of everyone excited. It is nice to sit outside and eat after just leaving the frozen north.

We ate in Parrot Cay. It was YUMMY! Not to miss are the little dessert tarts with the fruit on the top. We never saw them again but they were GOOD!!!!! Of course the shrimp was fabulous! And it was nice and cool in the A/C!

Although both restraunts were open the cast members seemed to funnel the guests to one or the other to even out the flow of guests to the dining areas. We, of course did our own thing and caught the buffet @ Topsiders AFTER we did the Ressie Shuffle for Palos and Spa

I think it is Parrot Cay that is a bit better (field greens vs. regular lettuce for the salad, pesto sauce for the pasta), but you can doublecheck my trip report to be sure. We checked out both and I reported on it when we did our three-peat in Aug./Sept. But the difference is not huge.

Just want to add my 2 cents! We always go to Topsiders for all the reasons listed! We love sitting outside in the sun and breeze!
