Hi All,

We been a member since 2001. Have not used points for about 3 years. Rented or auctioned off for charity and banked.

Now we are planning for an Oct 2010 trip. Since we moved to the West Coast it's hard to plan time to go to WDW. Travel time and hard to get time off. Haven't been to DL and will some day. Tried to use points at RCI last year and that was a joke, IMO

Anyway.... rambling,
We can't make ressie for 10/2/10 trip till 3/2/10. We want a grand villa Animal Kingdom 1st choice, BWV 2nd, OKW 3rd, SSR 4th and BL last. Could also do 2 two bedrooms. We will have about 12 people total.

Can I request before the 2nd and MS will check on the 2nd or should I get up at 5 am PST and call?

We own at VWL.

I am excited to start planning this trip! Haven't been on Disboards for about a year. Still familiar names and posters here!

I would call. While you can send your request to MS via email, if it is read before the 2nd, they won't be able to help you.

If they don't get to it until after the 2nd, you may be out of luck. There is just no way to know for sure that they will have it to act on it exactly when you need them to.

I did a reservation request via email, but only because I was looking to change my room type and figured it was no big deal if it didn't happen. In your case, you are trying for a hard to get reservation.
