email postcards from EPCOT?

When we were at WDW in 2000, they had email postcards at Innoventions, that we tried. Unfortunately, our recipients never received them. I was wandering if things have changed, and possibly they have 'upgraded' their systems and that they work better in these 'electronic' days! Anyone tried them, if they still have them?

DH and I emailed some on 6/11 and our recepients just received them yesterday so maybe they are getting a little bit better. Just seems to me that if you are "emailing" something, it shouldn't take a week to get them.

we used the email postcards from Innovations in April. The kids couldn;t go a week without a computer! Everyone we sent them to recieved them.
we even sent one home to see when we got back.

Two weeks ago we e-mailed ourselves and my brother a postcard from Inoventions and it was there when we got home! Loved doing that little freebie picture!

I was at Epcot in December and sent one from over at Imagination in the Kodak building. (after you leave the ride)

I still have the link on in my email. I just checked it and it still exists on the Kodak website.

It looks like it comes from your own personal email. The people I sent it to were really confused when they got mail from me when they knew I was in WDW.

So go ahead and try that one!

We did this in March! We e-mailed ourselves and Grandma! They arrived before we got home!

Do not forget about the hysterical space postcards from Mission space!! These are so funny.... you can be captured by aliens, be on a spaceship or you can be a martian!
You just need to enter the "exit" to Mission Space. There is a great area there with video games and the email postcards.
