Email/PC Question/thought

So I was wondering if someone else got a code like a relative and you booked with them but then the party that got the code canceled there room. Do you think they would cancel the code on you or is it a once it has been applied it stays kind of thing. I am going with my MIL who actually got the code so it doesn't really apply to me but it got me thinking. If you could do that, then sign up different people in your family for the planning video and maybe one of them would get the email code. What I have seen from my own experience is that they send an email that your video is on the way but you can start planning now. The emails either give you a basic rate 77-119 with no pin or one with a specific offer (mine was $84.00 4-17 to 7-4) and a pin. I only signed up three people and one out of three had a pin. Also, I am handleing all of the planning and just told the CM that and she had know problem with me using my MIL code since they were in the same party. Just a thought.

I wonder if they ask to see the PC at check-in?? I've never booked with one, but that is an interesting question.

How long ago did you sign up for the planning video? I signed up for one in DH's name yesterday and I'm crossing my fingers! I got the one last week that was just an ad for rack rates.

I signed my wife and MIL like last Wednesday or Thursday and got the emails on Wednesday. This was an email anyways, so I seriously doubt it.

I believe all that information is stored in youe WDW profile. So the only time you might have to show your PC is if they didn't think you had recieved one.
