Email from Disney golf that fellow DVCers may be interested in!

We just received an email from Disney golf to notify us our May 21st tee time at LBV golf course had been changed to Eagle Pines for the same day and time. The reason was as follows:

"Disney has decided to close several courses during the summer on a rotating basis and it just happen to fall on the day you wanted to play Lake Buena Vista."

My DH called the number given and we were assured we would pay the LBV lower rates. No other reason was given but I'm sure the low visitor rate had a part in it. No big deal to us but thought some of you may want to be aware.

Wow, thanks! The main purpose for DH and DS next month (may 25-30) is to golf. I'd better call tomorrow and double-check all their tee times. Another little disappointment, if LBV is closing we were looking forward to sitting on the porch at OKW and watching the golfers. I wonder when it's going to be closed. I remember that DH tried to get a tee time there on 5/29 and the CM said it was "unavailable", but she didn't know the reason-I wonder..

Gosh, I hadn't even thought about not being able to watch the golfers from our deck at OKW. We really enjoy doing that too! But the way it sounded, it was only random days down that would be rotated among all the WDW golf courses. So hopefully, we'll have something to watch!
