Email from Border Control - RE: not leaving USA

I read a while ago on this forum from someone else with the same issue but can't find the thread.

I left the USA 6 weeks ago but just got an email saying I am still in the USA. I think that it was because I left from Canada so they didn't know I got off the cruise ship?
What do I do??? I can't find the thread. I will call them but from Australia I have no idea what to do. This seems to be a constant issue.
