It could be a board glitch. Did you ennable the headers to see if it might be from someone else? (I've heard of blank e-mails connected with phishing scams floating around these days...)
I'd recommend being VERY skeptical of any email you receive without a subject title.
On a similar note, last week everyone in my address book received an email from my account. The email was not actually sent from me and it included an attachment originating from an international site.
I'm wondering if the security lapse occured from me trying to access my account from my blackberry?
