Not to burst your bubble, but I think there we got this same offer last April / May and it was a public code. It was a free upgrade to a park hopper & water park option. The code was posted on Mousesavers. Not to say that this is going to be a public code again, maybe it is not going to.

I'm envious though b/c I've never rec'd a code or email from Disney

You didn't burst my bubble sunlover. Its definately a pin because it specifically says "be ready with your pin" and then there is like a 15 digit number for me. And it says the offer is non-transferable. I do think that it is funny to make such a big deal out of a little savings. I can't use this but I'm still happy I finally got a pin email. I hope I didn't use up all my "email luck" on this one.

I would be happy with hopper upgrades. We are going in April, and I'm beginning to think I'm out of luck.

It's funny how there are so many regulars that have numerous trips to Disney and they've never gotten codes.

I was just reading another thread and they were saying there might not be the public code for the upgrade on the hopper & waterpark so it might be a great pin if you are going during that time.

I hear you on the email pins. My friend is going with her brother and they both got 40% off emails and are only using 1.

I want a 40% off code!

I guess I'll continue to go during free dining until I get a 40% pin (if I ever do).

I received that same e-mail and used it to book room only at a nice discount. It beat the AAA rate. Doesn't hurt to call and ask.

That's so interesting - if you don't mind my asking, what kind of discount did you get with it? I wasn't planning on traveling until august but I could probably be swayed.

I got that email too. Definately a PIN number on it. But last time I got a code with pin in the mail, it was also the same one being offered to the public.
I didn't think this deal was anything really. We don't do waterparks, and really don't need parkhoppers. We aren't going anyways, but that deal itself wouldn't be one to entice me to come either. Of course if I was going and that was the only deal I could get, I would take it. But honestly we have had park hoppers before and rarely ever hop. Plus I lpriced it out for dates we are going on vacation this year (not Disney) and for 2 people the savings was less than $200. So not sure where the figure of 102 per adult came in.

I also got that e-mail! Unfortunately, it is for the spring and we are going in August and so we cannot use it! This is the first e-mail offer we have ever gotten. Years ago, we got one Post Card offer. Haven't seen anything since! I also hope that I haven't used all my pixe dust!

It is very likely that CM was wrong. Unfortunately you can call 12 times, get 12 different CM's, and get 12 different answers.
It could work if they live in the same house. Or if the yhave the same last name it may work as well. But if you aren't attached to that families adress or name, it won't work. They have it on the computer.
I have heard of two seperated deals on here where people started passing along codes. The people even successfully booked trips, only to be called at later dates and told that the code was not valid for htem and would they still like to go on the trip, full price, or cancel.

My husband's aunt received a code - sent to MY e-mail address. The reservations CM wouldn't budge.... we could NOT use it, even though it came to my e-mail address.

Just booked POR today May 13-20. We had a code later in the month but we are locked into mid May so couldn't budge. CM said it was for the end of May. Luckily we got something off with the AAA discount.

You should keep calling back Robin4 to see if a code gets added for you.

Thanks for the info! I didn't think there were any codes out there for the end of May - the only one I've heard of ends May 21st - so that's great to know that there's a possibility of one We have AAA for our dates as well but with not being able to lock into regular season rates for entire stay like before and also the rate increase on the weekends, it doesn't seem like much of a discount compared to previous years - still, we're happy to have it but would love to get one of those magical codes I have been calling to check but so far no magic but I'll keep trying!
