Email dining reservations

Never tried this.

Do you just e-mail the times for each place you want and the confirmation will confirm it or adjust it to a close time?

Yep. We got the time requested for 2 of our reservations and the third we were given a time that was 30 mins earlier. We have a larger group (11) and that was latest breakfast time they could get us all that the same table.
 
Wow, fast service! Just emailed for our AG and BB reservations for our Oct trip and got the confirmations within 10 minutes! Impressive!

Ok so I a bit frustrated I sent my email for reservations to Minnie and friends and blue bayou ( as a surprise for my sister) at 220pm Cali time today and have yet to receive any response back besides the general bounce back email and of course it's just after 9 Cali time now

And of course I had high expectations given so many people have said on here it was done for them within in hour of original email - I understand being the weekend and most likely less staff but I just thought it would been a response by now

Maybe it's because it's Saturday, so they may have less staff on for the weekends. You should probably hear back from them in the morning.

Thats odd. Because I sent mine in for Carthay Circle about 8:30pm Cali time and got a response & confirmation # within 15 mins.

Maybe because it's character dining??

One of them is for Minnie and friends and the other is blue bayou
 
I sent an email last night at 10pm California time for AG and Surf's Up breakfast and had a reply in my email by 7:30 California time this morning.

I think either your email got missed or the reply did? Did you check your junk mail/spam just in case?

I'd just resend but mention its your second email so the CM will check if a ressie was already made.

A happy ending and Disney service I'm used to I resent my dining request email and within 5 mins I had a response with times I'm stoked about!!

Thanks for all your helps and hope to see some of you in the parks
 
I just did this this afternoon and it worked like a dream. I got all the times and places I requested. So excited!!!!!
 
I have had an issue with getting a confirmation for an email dining reservation - I sent an email with 4 or 5 different requests on it, for different dates and restaurants, and it was only 60 days out for the first request but longer for the others. I didn't get any emails back at all. I resent the email when it was 60 days for the last request, and again, no response. Eventually I forwarded it to Vacation Planning (as we are staying at PPH)- again, no response.

Eventually I called Vacation Planning and they confirmed the booking had been made. But I did not get a confirmation number or email.

However - when I sent a seperate email for just one booking, less than 60 days ahead - I received the confirmation number the next day.
 
I sent my request for our first day in the parks last night at 9:30pm (after hours) & a response was there when I woke up this morning (sent at 7:41am). Going by dates not 60 days. I asked for a specific time slot & got that as well. Great service! :)
 
I really LOVE this email system to get my dining reservation. Sooooo easy! I followed the "How to Email a Reservation Request" instruction listed on Disneyland's website to a T. I sent two separate emails for my ressies. The first one was sent on Sept 1 for Nov 1 dining res. The second email was sent on Sept 4 for Nov 3 dining res. Each email had two requests. I received email confirmation within 30 minutes. I sent one email late at night and email confirmation arrived the next morning before 9am PST.

Hope my experience helps others when making your dining reservation at DLR. No need to call and be kept on hold forever...
 
I had to make changes to my ressies so I just sent the email asking to change dates. No problem everything was taken care of.
