Hey all of you Louisiana/LSU/Disney fans,

Who knew that there were so many of us???? Oh, Karibeth, how we were rooting for Oklahoma when they played USC!

The Disneystore in Lafayette closed too, Haughton Tiger, so our nearest one is in Baton Rouge (now two reasons to go to B.R, huh?).

We are in West Upper, 50 yd. line, but who knows where we will be next year with the renovations. At least, I'll weigh less since I think that the new plans call for the West Upper seats to be outside the normal range of gravity!

Love, love, love the band. My hubby has the CD and plays it all of the time, too!

At Disneyworld, we wore our National Champs. t-shirts. One special moment was when the strolling band switched from playing "Rockytop" to "Jambalaya" when they saw our shirts. Also, Tigger signed DS's autograph book with "Go, Tigers....Love, Tigger"

  So true! Maybe I should think about switching our seats...

LSUDis - I'm waiting to see how many LSU fans post here when they see your username!

When did OU play USC? I don't remember anything about a game! I know I had a really bad nightmare on a Tuesday night a couple of weeks ago, but I don't remember any game! :sad2:

Seriously, it's been exciting to go to the National Championship three times in the last 5 years, but winning only 1 out of the 3 has been extremely upsetting. If we don't win the next one we're in, I'm going to have a bit of a fit! And honestly, I wouldn't have minded losing if it had been a good game, and the score had been close, but losing the way we did was soooo frustrating. I still love my Sooners, though. :lovestruc Here's to a great season for OU and LSU next year (and also to whomever can beat USC!)! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'm sad to say (right now) that I am an Oklahoma fan. To be so close to the brass ring two years in a row is tough to swallow. Love Bob Stoops, though. I would not trade him for anyone. Hope we get to keep him for a long time.

So do we!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: Isn't college football great? I'm so sad it's over (esp. since our season didn't end the way we had hoped! ). And of course, how much fun is it to talk about it on the DIS boards? Our two favorite things in one place! (see my tag!)

Sorry for hijacking your thread, LSUdis! I hope some pixie dust comes your way and you get an e-mail code!
LOL- Your season didn't end the way I wanted it to either.

Thanks, I hope ya'll have a great season too :cheer2: . Were we separated at birth? I can't stop talking about football either. Once the games are over there's recruiting, Spring Practice, Spring Game, Fan Day, Fall Practice...

LSUDis - You might have to rename your thread

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
(I can't decide whether to laugh or cry about that!)

I wouldn't be surprised if we were separated at birth, given our shared love of football! In fact, one of the things my husband loves best about me is the fact I love college football just as much (if not a little more) as he does! He says I'm like that bride on the Tostitos commercial that finds all the guys in the coat closet, watching the game. Except, I'm smart enough to know NOT to schedule a wedding on a game day!!!

Again, I have to apologize to all those who are reading this thread expecting to find info on e-mail codes! Once you get fans talking about college football, it's hard to make us stop! :D

I'm only this way about college football. NFL - hate it.
People around here don't schedule weddings or birthday parties during football season. No one will show up!

Same here! I really don't like the NFL! I only watch it to get a football fix when the college season is over. Still, it's not the same.

It's also the same here in Oklahoma; football is serious business, and nothing had better interfere!

It's been fun talking to you, Capthooksmom!

Next big event...besides making priority seatings...National Signing Day :thewave:

I'm afraid that we will probably take a pretty big hit with recruits this year, but luckily we have a lot of returning players and a good home schedule.

Wouldn't our hubbies be so impressed? Here we are on a Disney board talking football :cool1:

Luckily, my children were born in May and the end of January--otherwise, I would have had to get another labor coach--no due dates from August-early January! :)

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: DH and I talked about due date with DS so I wouldn't deliver during football season! Same thing will happen with #2!
