Just received an emailed "Holiday" greeting from BIL:confused:

Do you think it is tacky to email Christmas card to family? My MIL and Aunt already send pre-printed cards without any handwritten note or anything and I don't like that. Now I am getting email cards:rolleyes:

I don't think it is tacky. Some of my family members don't send cards, some send e-cards, and some send cards in the mail. For those who send e-cards or cards in the mail, I am always happy that they were thinking of me and took the time to send a card. And for those that don't send them at all, I really do understand. There have been years that I just couldn't and didn't.

I do understand that you don't like it, though.

I really think it is the thought that counts. I do send and receive some e-mail cards so I guess I'm biased. LOL

I love email cards! Most of the ones I get sent are animated and usually funny.

I'd rather get an e-card than no card at all.

I prefer regular cards because I like to keep them for craft projects. :)

Both are fine for me.....but I do like "real" cards as I hang them up for all to see!!:) :bounce:

Well, this wasn't even a card. It was a note with a picture attached. But I guess you guys are right. It is the thought and the fact that they sent something at all.

I agree with Kitty 34 -- I like both kinds of cards (it's nice to be remembered), but I also like getting the real cards to hang up. :)

I like both. I always wondered how they were accepted, though. I know that snail mail is a bit outdated but it does show that they went out of their way to buy it, buy the stamp and send it out, which I know is a hassle for me so I appreciate someone doing it for me. I dunno...
