What effect do the evening E M Hours have on that parks attendance for that day?

Is it similar to the am EMH ?

Thanks

yes the evening extra magic hours do seem to increase park attendance for the entire day.
We tested out that theory only once, going to the AK on a day it had evening EMH and indeed park attendance seemed to be twice what it was on the day we went when there were no EMH of any kind.

other than that one day in AK, we made a point of never going to a park that had morning or evening EMH on that day and found that even in the peak July period, the crowds in the parks were bearable.

i think it has to do with the fact that many people have tickets that don't have park hopper privileges. So they have to go the one park for the entire day. That is, they can't switch parks. So they go to the park with the EMH. And since people would prefer not to get up too early in the morning, they tend to pick the evening EMH park over the morning EMH park.

We made the mistake of going to see Wishes on a late opening day and the park was bedlam, we couldn't get out of the park quick enough.

We avoided early opening parks/evening ones normally but it was the last night and DS14 wanted to see the fireworks for the last time, so we just headed in at 9.30 pm.

I would plan my holiday around the quietest days getting to the parks at least 30 minutes before opening and avoid EMH like the plague. We hit all the parks first thing in the morning and didn't have any problem with queues. Queues started to build up at about 11 ish each day but by then we had done all the rides we wanted to.
