Elves???

so when are they all arriving at your houses?

I caved today with mom and bought the elf on a shelf box and a reindeer (at the dollar store) I'd hoped to find a second elf but not luck. that is okay though because when L was in pre k,age 4, there was a classroom elf Named Ernie well one day I told the boys that I kept seeing these flashes of color and finally figured Ernie must have followed us home. Every year I've mentioned Ernie well this year he's here. While we were out delivering the beef he must have arrived.

Ernie and his reindeer pal commendeered my holiday truck and crashed landed in the laundry pile in the hall outside their bedrooms. They walked by him at least 5 times each finally I had to ask where my truck was and I spotted it in the hall. I don't know if they are buying it or not........

December 1st here too.

Spent yesterday priming the Little Bit with my "application" to the "Elf Training Family Foster Program". I am still waiting to see if we will be accepted.

Ours started last night. He played DD's Leapster until the batteries were dead (I just put old ones in it that we'd just taken out). He was sitting in dad's spot on the couch w/ the Leapster in his lap & games all around. Kids loved it. Ours is Lucas. He's been visiting us for about 3 yrs. now.

Well the 1st day was a sucess they hunted hi and low until daddy playing along started laughing and saying Ernie must be cold. he'd scattered reeces peanut butter cup wrappers on the table and had managed to get himself stuck in the fridge. Elmo ( the reindeer) was pinned in the handles was he trying to keep ernie in or get him out was the discussion. Ernie was on the milk jug.
They also found a note from the head elf explaining that they could pick them up and return them to their truck but only for that. I have no idea what trouble they'll get themselves into tonight.

Our little guys will arrive tomorrow!!!!
I have had so much on my plate this week and it looks like it will be tossed around in several different directions this week or anytime to be exact that it's going to be nuts and I may be very glad for our little elfs to be in to help the kids thru this holiday season.
