Elsa's Wish Trip and GKTW PTR

Thanks Gina. I wasn't sure of what the Gaylord Palms had, I knew we want to see the ICE though. On the website, do they have all the info? The characters are there for breakfast?
I was counting on Sea World being an all-dayer:thumbsup2

Hi kalimom6,

Here is the link to the Gaylord Palms Christmas page:

http://www.gaylordhotels.com/gaylord-palms/christmas-in-orlando/index.html

The Shrek Feast is a buffet breakfast that they do on weekends only. Its kind of pricey ($29.99 per adult, $19.99 for kids) but they say the character interaction is great. The characters are Shrek, Princess Fiona (as a face character....her "daytime" look), and Puss in Boots (who is just adorable). There is a great review of the meal here:

If you spend $50 at the restaurant on breakfast (which you would easily do with such a large crew), then your parking fee ($15) would be waived. Otherwise, if you come to visit the ICE attraction, you will be paying to park your vehicle.

Gingy's Gingerbread Decorating is pretty reasonable. Kits run from $15 to $30 depending on how large and elaborate of a project you wanted to do. Everything from ornaments to a whole house. They provide everything you need from gingerbread to icing and candies. Then you get to go visit Gingy and take pictures with your own camera. Here's the link:

The, of course, there is the ICE exhibit.

There are apparently lots of other things going on at the resort as well, so I have read. Stage shows and entertainment throughout the day. And lots of beautiful decorating if the photos are any indication. This year will be our family's first year visiting Gaylord Palms and I must admit we are excited!!

Hope that helps you some :goodvibes .

Hmmmmm..........I see my link to the Shrek Feast review isn't allowed. Drat. I will see if I can find another one.

We got a wonderful surprise today. I recieved an email that said Sea World has set up a Dolphin Meet and Greet for Elsa!!!!:yay::dance3::cheer2:
She will be SO excited! Her wish is to "see a big fish." A month from tomorrow her wish will come true, we'll be at SW!

How awesome! :woohoo:

Have you thought about doing Dine with Shamu? I bet your whole family would LOVE it.....especially if little Elsa is looking to see some "big fish" ::yes::.

If another adult is coming with you, then two of your kids would be free (their current promo is one free child for each paid adult). Under the promotional price, each adult is $29, and kids are $19 (regular price for this was $49 per adult until just a month or so ago, so this is a great deal!). You would also get a complimentary family photo to help you remember all the fun :thumbsup2 .

You have a beautiful family. :) So sorry that your family has gone through so much. So happy that Elsa's wish to see a big fish is being granted. :cheer2:

We just got back from some out of town doctors appointments. Elsa wears a back brace for scoliosis 24/7. We found out yesterday that she only needs to wear it at night:cheer2::yay:
And he said that we should just leave the brace at home, don't even bother taking it with us!!! I am so excited!

I'm so excited for you guys!! I can't wait to hear all about your magical trip!

Jackie
