We had an unexpected Frozen experience this evening when a local annual gala parade had a Frozen float. Elsa was lovely and sister was over the moon.

She thought she was back in Disney watching Magic on Parade.

That's is fab :goodvibes
She looks so happy.
You do know they are casting for Elsa and Anna at disney at the min didn't you ?
I've read they will be there for Christmas :)

Thanks Rachel. I know but we can't go at Christmas. Hopefully she'll still be there next summer. :)

Lovely, looks like your sister enjoyed it:thumbsup2

That's cute!
I know the rumours are bouncing about Anna and Elsa being in DLP for Christmas, but these were also around last Christmas too. Especially as WDW has their Frozen Summer right now! I'm sceptical until I here more as they will need their own meet and greet and not in the PP. It woukd just turn it into a nightmare!

Thanks guys - really just being silly though sister was just as impressed with that Elsa as she was with the Disney princesses we met in June. The girl was thrilled to be asked for the photo.

Lisa, I'm inclined to be cynical about the story too though of course I do hope it's true. :)

Saw this so presume there definitely will be meet and greets? (Assuming they managed to recruit them)

Anna and Elsa are already present on their parade float so presumably the casting could be no more than for that again but on the other hand it does seem a waste of casting if they are not used for meet and greets when they would be such a draw. The rumour seems to suggest that the PP would just be used for the Frozen princesses - would be wonderful if the backdrop could be themed as the ice castle! - and other princesses would appear in a different location.

Advert says 'and to participate in our meet and greets'. Really hope it happens, we've seen them on the floats would be great to meet them too.

I think it would be awful if they removed the Princesses from the PP just for Anna and Elsa (yes, I did say "just"). They waited ages to get a decent meet and greet :-/
Here's a bounce around idea:
How about the old Woody's round up area for Christmas? They already do a makeover for Santa, and the farm area is disused too - a whole Winter Wonderland for them (and Santa) would be lovely! I know Fantasyland is a better place though, but how about transforming the Castle stage like the old Christmas meet and greets with the Princesses?? Putting them in the pavillion will mean queing twice as no doubt they will be seperate and not together :-/
If there is to be a meet and greet (remember most friends of Princesses are versitile and have many talents ;-) ) then thet better have been thought out well!!

I'm inclined to agree with you on the removal of all other princesses from PP Lisa. I think there are some who would prefer one of the more traditional princesses than a new one if that makes sense. My sister has really taken to Frozen so would be happy to meet Anna or Elsa but her reaction to Jasmine was a bit "who the heck is she?". I wonder if it was the lack of a princess dress that caused it.

I do think that whatever they do they should have a bookable system like they have at the PP and not have the 2 hour + queues like they have been having for Rapunzel. That is totally unnecessary given how well the PP system works.
