It will be closed when we are there. When I told DH, the first thing he wanted to know was where we'd take our afternoon nap at Epcot!!! We always just closed our eyes and relaxed during the show. I actually like the show, but we've seen it more times than I care to count.
random side note... even I fell asleep in that last year. I don't know if it was that it was boring or I was just so wiped out. Being that I am a teacher I probably could have got some good lesson materials out of it.. but then again, who wants to think about work on a vacation
The old version was even better for that. Between the Universe of Energy and other old Epcot rides, I usually didn't have to pay attention in science class for a few weeks when I got home from WDW. Epcot even had a place in one of the Communicores (now Innoventions) just for teachers.

Communicores...teehee...that REALLY takes me back! When did they change the name to Innoventions? Although I only visited "EPCOT Center" (remember that?) once and I really like "Epcot", I'm beginning to think this is just one more thing that convinces me I'm old school in every way.
I LOVE EEA! Especially in August! We tried to ride it 3 times in August, because it broke down twice. We were stuck in the cars before the dinosaur part for like 20 minutes. So it definitely needs some upgrading.
It is alot better with Ellen than it was when it first opened. Is was like watching one documentary after another. I remember my three year old got bored and restless and a lady giving me a nasty look. Believe me if I could have taken him out I would have!
Ain't that the truth! The old version - boring science class film, dinos, another boring science class film - was torture.
I find Ellen amusing and I like Bill Nye (and used to be addicted to Jeopardy), so I really like the update.
Oh no! It will be closed when we get there. On a bright note though, SE is now reopened and we totally missed that do to rehab on our last trip. We'll just have to make due without or Ellen & dinosaur fix.
